Since 1976 TACA, formerly known as the Caro Arts Society, has been dedicated to providing quality arts experiences in the Thumb area to benefit the people by providing a platform to perform, to learn a skill in the arts, or to simply be entertained! Housed in a 19th century historic church belonging to the Village of Caro, TACA has a rich history of arts promotion in its four departments: Dance, Music, Theater and Visual Art.
Our Mission
The Thumb Area Center for the Arts (TACA) strives to foster quality arts experiences in the areas of dance, music, theater and visual arts in the Thumb area of Michigan by providing the public with opportunties in performance, arts education and entertainment.
Office Hours
Effective July 1, 2008, office hours will be Saturdays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and by appointment.
